Bio
I grew up in Greenville, NC and I have an undergraduate degree in Communication from North Carolina State University After spending several years working at the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce and then being a stay at home mom, I had a string of aha moments that led me to pursue a degree in nutrition. While juggling life and family, I completed both my Master’s degree in Nutrition and my Dietetic Internship at Meredith College. With the exception of health for my family, all I wanted in life for five years of prerequisites, graduate school and a year-long, post-graduate internship was to have the words "registered dietitian nutritionist" behind my name so that I could ethically and knowledgeably help others feel their best through the power of food.
Upon completing my post-graduate internship, I worked for Sodexo Quality of Life Services as a Campus Dietitian in their Universities Division. This position expanded my knowledge of food safety, sustainability, group nutrition counseling, food allergies and so much more. I now run my own telehealth-based, private practice full time living my dream of sharing all I have learned about balance and feeling good in mind and body.
I live in Raleigh, NC with my husband Mike and our two kids. I am licensed to offer telehealth nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy throughout North Carolina as well as South Carolina, Georgia, and Mississippi, and I can provide general nutrition guidance to anyone outside these states.
